The Passion of Music
Our living room is going to have a 'Music' theme. Instruments, musical notes, records, album covers, etc will be the general decor. The room will have a black and white color scheme, with red accents to match the fireplace brick.

| There is a fireplace in the corner, which will add some nice atmosphere to this room. The bottom 1/3rd of the wall will be black, and the rest will be off-white. The ceiling tiles will be replaced. For now we are considering a color from the red family, burgundy perhaps, for the carpeting. |

| There are a lot of windows in the room; the right window coverings will add warmth to the design. White window blinds, for shading, with burgundy toppers and white panel curtains will be used to further accent the color scheme. The ceiling fan will be removed; floor and table lamps will be used for artificial light. |

| This room had been an addition to the house; the door to the kitchen was originally the back door. When the room was added, the brown door in the picture became the exit. We removed the white door from the kitchen to open up the area a bit. The furniture we choose for this room will most likely be black leather. |
